The theme of our fourteenth show in New York City is INSIDE OUT and it will be co-curated by Aperture’s book publisher, Lesley Martin. We are extending the submission deadline to Wednesday, November 4th and the guidelines can be found here.

For entrance to this show, it’s necessary to purchase $10 tickets in support of both SLPS and The Aperture Foundation. If you are serious about securing a spot for a fantastic multimedia slideshow and potluck dinner, we invite you to purchase your tickets immediately!

Tomorrow at TU Berlin, one of the world’s most important climate change scientists, Nicholas Stern, will give a free public lecture.

Becks Urban Experience Berlin: Impressions

Last thursday Becks – the biggest and probably most successful German beer brand from the beautiful city of Bremen – invited about 500 people for a truly urban experience. Of course there was free beer and if one asked nicely one would also get a green Becks eventhough it looked like there was only Becks Gold available. A great Burger and Hot dog buffet made pretty much all none vegetarians happy.

All in all it was a fun and playful collaboration of street artists, modern art, musicians and baking beer bread as well as getting to play a little bit with the famous “Carrera Bahn”

This dog was pretty cool. People might say that a dog should not be in a crowded fashion show with loud music on a leash from an almost naked man THIS dog however took it with true style.
